The Knabe House
We are currently redoing the work that was poorly performed by another contractor. The Knabe House is the former residence of the Knabe family, of Knabe Pianos. During the 1800s and early 1900s, The Knabe Piano Company was one of the Big Three U.S. piano manufacturers, along with Chickering of Boston and Steinway of New York. The Knabe Piano Company was the largest employer in the City of Baltimore. This residence is one of the few remaining spectacular mansions of Baltimore and is now undergoing restoration.
