David Halpern, Principal Restorer

Thank you for visiting! I am David Halpern, Owner and Principal Restorer at Leeds Arden, LLC.  Coming from a family of artists, I began sculpting and carving at a young age, but chose to seek my fortune in the corporate world.  After 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I decided to "retool" and make a complete career change from the corporate environment to my passion...working with my hands as a craftsman.

But, this is only the beginning of our learning process. David also has undergone hundreds of hours of on-the-job training in the form of an apprenticeship with a master brownstone restorer.
